|Company||ODDO BHF PRIVATE EQUITY|
|Title||The Private Equity Secondary Market : Key features and opportunities|
|Content||The secondary market is expected to remain buoyant for some years to come. Compared with the secondary market in listed equities, the private equity’s secondary market remains small (less than 3% of total private equity NAV). Private equity’s secondary market growth, over the past decade, is linked to the growth of the private equity asset class. Fundraising volumes provide unprecedented available stock for secondary transactions which offer a welcomed portfolio management tool, along with liquidity (GP-led transactions) and transparency. Institutional investors have acknowledged these benefits : attractive risk-weighted returns, diversification, reduction of the ‘J-curve’ effect, valuable insight into individual GPs. Oddo BHF Private Equity, benefits from an impeccable nine year old track record, to keep surfing this wave.|
