AB’s Kjærsgaard to discuss HY at Luxembourg roundtable
Jørgen Kjærsgaard (pictured), Head of European Credit will discuss eurozone high yield during the InvestmentEurope Fund Selector Roundtable Luxembourg 2016, taking place on 18th February.
Kjærsgaard will discuss that while Europe’s high-yield universe is nearing its fourth consecutive year in the black, HY investors still face challenges navigating late-cycle headwinds from US markets, strong companies calling bonds early, higher volatility in core yields and pronounced secular changes.
Kjærsgaard is Head of European Credit at AB, where he serves as portfolio manager for European Credit and heads the UK & Euro, High-Yield and Investment-Grade Credit portfolio-management teams.
Prior to joining AB in 2007, he was executive director for Structured Credit Solutions at Rabobank. Before that, he was a director for Nordic Structured Solutions at Royal Bank of Scotland. He also spent a large part of his career working in both London and Copenhagen for Danske Bank, and spearheaded Danske’s credit derivatives trading and managed-mortgage and corporate credit portfolios.
