American Century’s Nathan Chaudoin covers EM at Copenhagen Forum
Nathan Chaudoin, vice president, client portfolio manager at American Century Investments is set to take part in the Fund Selector Forum Copenhagen, taking place 26 October at the Hotel d’Angleterre in Denmark’s capital.
Chaudoin is set to look over key events as they have affected emerging markets through the year: from Chinese ‘circuit breakers’, through presidential impeachment in Brazil and a failed coup in Turkey. Despite these events, EM is up overall, reflecting a significant turnaround from the previous years of poor performance relative to developed markets.
Arguably, EM investments are also benefitting from what is seen as tangible evidence of recovering fundamentals. Chaudoin’s sessions will address these changes in respect of identifying and investing in future earnings.
Chaudoin is a member of the Global and Non-US Equity team as a client portfolio manager, and is responsible for communicating the manager’s Global and Emerging Market Equity investment strategies and results to clients and consultants.
He joined American Century Investments in 2014. Previously, he was with HSBC Global Asset Management, most recently as a senior emerging market debt product specialist. Before HSBC GAM he was engaged in business strategy and development at Dresdner RCM Global Investors.
Active in the industry since 2000, Chaudoin, Nathan received a bachelor’s degree in French from Wake Forest University.
