Andrew Lake joins Mediterranean Summit Venice 2017
Andrew Lake, head of fixed income, Mirabaud Asset Management, is set to discuss fixed Income as an investment opportunity at the upcoming Mediterranean Summit Venice 2017 to be held on 8 & 9 June at the stunning JW Marriott Venice.
Why we think smart investors can still utilize a fixed income allocation effectively in the current environment. The key is how. The Mirabaud Strategic Bond Fund is one such solution, it is a total return fund aimed at capturing all opportunities across the fixed income universe under various economic cycles, including the currently unfolding post-monetary easing phase. The fund will seek to extract value from government bonds, and corporate credit including high yield, fixed and floating rate instruments in both developed and emerging markets. Managing duration and credit exposure across the business cycle will be the main driver of performance. The investment process is driven by our active approach to global duration and credit allocation starting with a top down assessment of the macro economic environment. Here Lake defines key investment themes across global markets and identify key investment themes using quantitative, qualitative and technical analysis to decide which part of the interest rate or credit curve is most interesting.
