Anil Katarya of Voya IM (NN IP) taking part in Miami Summit

Anil Katarya, co-head of Investment Grade Credit at Voya Investment Management, part of NN Investment Partners, is set to outline facets of US investment grade credit when speaking at the Funds Society Miami Summit 2017 on 18-19 May.

There is continued demand for US IG credit as yield levels are being sought out by investors globally. Katarya argues that valuations are still attractive because spreads remain above historical averages, while earnings growth of US companies as well as their levels of leverage, have remained relatively stable.

Katarya is co-head of Investment Grade Credit and senior portfolio manager at Voya Investment Management. He has been with the company for 17 years and has 19 years of experience.  Previously, he was the head of credit portfolio management and also served as a portfolio manager and credit analyst on the investment grade team. Prior to joining Voya IM, he was a financial analyst for Mirant. Katarya received a BS in mechanical engineering from Kurukshetra University, India, and an MBA from Georgia State University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
