Brandes’ Jeffrey Germain to attend NY Forum
Jeffrey Germain, director, Investments Group at Brandes Investment Partners will take part in the upcoming Funds Society Fund Selector Forum New York 2016, to discuss opportunities for value investors in European and emerging markets equities.
Taking place 18 October at the Waldorf Astoria, the Forum offers locally based fund selecors access to a spread of ideas – from credit to equity – amid an ongoing challenging environment of market volatility and uncertain monetary policy direction.
Germain is set to argue that for equity investors, the valuation spreads between value stocks and the broader market in Europe and emerging markets remain a “unprecedented levels due to a combination of factors”. The spreads will narrow, but indicate the opportunities for returns for those who disriminate between stocks
