Carmignac’s Denham to discuss European equities at Miami Summit

Mark Denham, head of European Equities at Carmignac, will be attending the Funds Society Miami Summit 2017 to be held on 18-19 May at the Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, Miami.

Denham will explain how to fit the European cycle into a long term portfolio, at a time when the backdrop for European equities is increasingly supportive, with improving economic momentum across the region and encouraging expectations for profits growth in 2017.

He will explain how he is investing to capture the benefit from this benign environment while retaining his emphasis on stocks with strong individual business models.

Denham joined Carmignac in October 2016. Previously, he worked for thirteen years at Aviva Investors in London, where he was in charge of pan-European equities. Prior to that, he was a European equities fund manager at Insight Investment and at National Mutual Life.

Graduated from Cambridge with a degree in Natural Sciences, Denham also holds a post-graduate certificate in Advanced Mathematics. He also holds Investment Management and Fellow of Institute of Actuaries qualifications.
