Carmignac’s Muhammed Yesilhark covers European equities at Miami Summit
Muhammed Yesilhark, head of European Equities at Carmignac, will discuss the role of European equities at a time of unprecedented monetary policy from the ECB, when he joins the Fund Selector Summit Miami, taking place 7-8 May at the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne.
The problem that quantitative easing by the European Central Bank is leading to is expanded multiples on individual European stocks, which juxtaposes valuations done on the basis of fundamentals. However, the last quarter of 2014 illustrated the challenge that faces investors from a volatility perspective. Yesilhark will explain why stock picking is therefore crucial, highlighting the benefits of focusing on asymmetric risk/reward situations.
Yesilhark started his career as an analyst at Lazard in Frankfurt working on M&A. From there he moved to York Capital, working on an event driven hedge fund, before joining US based hedge fund SAC.
