Eaton Vance to discuss US HY at Luxembourg Roundtable

Jeffrey Mueller (pictured), portfolio manager and global analyst at Eaton Vance Investment Managers will discuss opportunities in US high yield at the InvestmentEurope Fund Selector Roundtable Luxembourg on 18 February.

Mueller will argue that despite recent volatility, investors shouldn’t throw out the baby with the bathwater.

He highlights that given relatively low growth, with relatively low but sustainable growth, an outlook of below average default rates, and spreads currently beyond their long-term average, investors shouldn’t shun the asset class.

Mueller is vice president, portfolio manager and global analyst on Eaton Vance’s high-yield team. He is responsible for buy and sell decisions, portfolio construction and risk management for the firm’s high-yield strategies. He also leads investment management and credit research for all non-US high-yield opportunities.

Prior to joining Eaton Vance in 2015, he was high-yield portfolio manager with Threadneedle Asset Management and worked among others for Centaurus Capital Ltd. and Amaranth Advisors LLC.
