Ferdinand Dalhuisen of Oddo BHF PE considers private equity at Reykjavik Roundtable
Ferdinand Dalhuisen, managing director at Oddo BHF Private Equity will outline the private equity secondary market opportunities he sees, when he presents at the upcoming InvestmentEurope Reykjavik Roundtable 2018, taking place on 13 September at the Grand Hotel in the Icelandic capital.
The market for PE secondaries is expected to remain buoyant, as it remains small compared to listed equities, at less than 3% of total private equity net asset value, Dalhuisen explains. Ongoing growth in the overall PE market means that there is growing stock available for secondary transactions, providing liquidity and transparency for investors seeking diversification benefits.
Dalhuisen joined Oddo BHF PE in January 2018, after previously spending seven years at Deutsche Bank PE. Before that he worked at Golding Capital Partners in Munich – a PE fund of funds. He started his career with Credit Suisse in London.
Dalhuisen holds an MBA from INSEAD and Bachelor degrees in Law and Russian from Oxford University.
