Fiera Capital’s Mayo on EM equities at Lausanne Summit

Fiera Capital’s director Julian Mayo will address emerging market equities at the InvestmentEurope Pan-European Lausanne Summit to be held on 25-27 April 2018 at the Beau-Rivage Palace.

Mayo will outline the case for emerging market equities and will describe how Fiera Capital’s fundamentally driven research process leads to a concentrated portfolio of quality growth oriented companies that, according the specialist, can compound value for shareholders over time, resulting in superior investment performance.

Company characteristics are not always appropriately valued in emerging markets and companies are often priced on short-term or thematic considerations. Reliable information can be sparse and hard to access, with many investors unaware of early stage trends and a company’s capabilities which will reap benefits over the long-term.

Mayo joined the firm in 2003 as a director of Charlemagne Capital (now Fiera Capital) and a member of the Portfolio Management team. He has over 30 years’ investment experience, focusing primarily on emerging markets having spent part of his career in Asia.
