Fisch AM’s Martin Haycock revisits case for convertibles at Copenhagen Roundtable
Martin Haycock, senior product manager, will outline Fisch Asset Management’s approach to convertible bonds and the current case for revisiting the asset class when he presents at the Copenhagen Roundtable 2018, hosted by InvestmentEurope on 30 October at the Hotel d’Angleterre in the Danish capital.
Haycock, who has worked on convertibles since the 1990s, will outline the case for convertibles amid equity market uncertainty and rising rates; including the ability to access exposure to further upside in stock markets while also accessing reduced exposure to interest rate risk relative to corporate bonds.
At Fisch AM, Haycock is a member of the Investment Office, supporting the Convertible Bond portfolio management team as a convertible bond specialist. Before joining the firm in 2015 he spent 20 years at UBS, as a member of the convertible bond origination team and latterly as head of convertible bond research and head of convertible bond marketing. In 2012 he became head of the UBS Index Group and COO for the cash equities business, and in 2014 led the sale of the UBS Convertible Indices to Thomson Reuters. He holds an MA and BA (Hons) in Land Economy from Cambridge University.
