Guinness AM’s Mark Hammonds joins Hamburg Summit
Mark Hammonds, co-manager of Guinness Asian Equity Income, Guinness Asset Management, is set to outline discuss Guinness Asian Equity Income fund when he takes part in the Pan-European Summit Hamburg 2018, which runs 17-19 October at the Hotel Sofitel Hamburg Alter Wall.
The Asian story has powerful attractions for investors, a focus on stable robust cash-generative businesses whose shares are undervalued underlies a strategy designed to deliver a return balanced between profit growth, multiple expansion and dividend growth.
The fund concentrates on ‘quality’ dividend paying companies, defined by their return on invested capital over at least eight years and identifying those whose share price undervalues the probable persistence of those returns. Quality, Value and Dividends rather than good stories underpin a strategy that has outperformed all income-focussed peers in the IA Asia Pacific ex Japan Sector in absolute and risk-adjusted terms.
Hammonds joined Guinness Asset Management in 2012 and is co-manager of the Guinness Asian Equity Income Fund. Prior to that, he worked at Ernst & Young, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant.
