Henderson’s Nick Sheridan joins Miami Summit
Nick Sheridan, fund manager at Henderson Global Investors will be reviewing the position of value investing in mind of quantitative easing measures in Europe and elsewhere, when he presents at the upcoming Fund Selector Summit Miami, taking place 7-8 May at the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne.
With investors attracted to the environment of a weaker euro, lower oil price and ECB QE, there are signs of an impact on the so called real economy of Continental Europe. Indicators such as PMI point to ongoing improvements across the region. That said, there remain important reasons why investors need to be mindful of valuations.
Sheridan joined Henderson following the acquisition of New Star. His previous work included being senior portfolio manager at Wise Speke, before joining BWD Rensburt in 1990 as director of Gross Funds and manager of their Staff Pension Fund. Before New Star he worked at Tilney as director of European equities.
