Ignis’ Alistair Way to discuss GEM equity at Hamburg Summit

Alistair Way (pictured), senior portfolio manager at Ignis Asset Management will discuss opportunities in Global Emerging Markets (GEM) equities at the InvestmentEurope Pan European Fund Selector Summit held in Hamburg on 15-17 October.

Way will use real stock examples to illustrate the potential of an unconstrained, bottom-up stock selection approach in generating consistent portfolio alpha within a risk controlled framework.

Way joined Standard Life Investments in 2007, focusing initially on Japanese equities before extending coverage to Asia and Global Emerging Markets. He has over 20 years of industry experience including the management of Japanese equities at Baillie Gifford

Standard Life completed the purchase of Ignis in July this year.
