Invesco’s Alexander Uhlmann to join Lausanne Summit

Alexander Uhlmann, director of Portfolio Management Invesco Quantitative Strategies at Invesco Asset Management, will be discussing market neutral strategies at the upcoming InvestmentEurope Pan-European Summit Lausanne 2016, 19-21 April.

Highlighting such an approach comes in context of the ongoing market environment and estimated position in the business cycle. It can provide access to low correlation to traditional asset classes such as bonds or equities.

Uhlmann, who is part of a team with over 20 years of experience in managing such strategies, will provide insight into the use of quantitative modeling to achieve positive returns within specified risk parameters.

Uhlmann was appointed director of Portfolio Management in 2015. He began his investment career as an analyst with Invesco in 1997 and became portfolio manager for global equities in 2001. He received a “Diplom Betriebswirt (FH)” degree from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management in 2001. He has been a member of the IQS Global Management Committee since 2009. He is a CFA Charterholder and a member of the CFA Society Germany.
