Jacques-Aurélien Marcireau to attend DACH Summit Munich
Jacques-Aurélien Marcireau, fund manager, international equities, Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management is set to discuss the big data evolution at the upcoming DACH Summit, taking place 16-17 May at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof, Munich.
When Samsung announced its acquisition of US audio company Harman, for the tech community this didn’t mean that the world’s largest provider of smartphones had just bought a manufacturer of loudspeaker but that Samsung placed itself in the vanguard of the automotive industry, which Harman supplies with infotainment technology. The fragmentation of the world in sectors with unrelated industries belongs mostly to the past and the need for data storage, computing power and interfaces is the big unifier. Big Data concerns many sectors and our portfolio management will give it views on the fascinating journey that lies ahead of us and how investors can best benefit.
Jacques-Aurélien joined the international equities team at Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management in March 2009 as an analyst. Today he is in charge of the technology, media and telecom sector. Previously he gained valuable experiences as a regulatory officer in the telecommunications industry. Jacques-Aurélien is a graduate of the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Lille and holds a master’s degree in economy and financial analysis from the Université de Lille 2. He is also a CFA charter holder.
