Liontrust’s James Inglis-Jones joins DACH Summit Munich

James Inglis-Jones focus exclusively on company cash flows in managing the Liontrust GF European Strategic Equity Fund. He seeks to provide superior long term returns while taking less risk: protecting investors when the market falls and participating in the market’s growth. He will explain how their process targets a low-volatility, uncorrelated absolute return in a range of market environments.

Jones graduated in 1990 with a first class honours degree in Modern History from York University. He gained a D.Phil in Modern History in 1994 from Christ Church, Oxford. He subsequently worked for Unilever, becoming, latterly, a commercial manager. In 1997 he joined Fleming Investment Management as an analyst before assuming responsibility in 1999 for the management of UK equity portfolios. Between 1999 and 2002 he worked on JP Morgan Fleming’s institutional investment process and managed a wide range of retail and institutional funds. He ended his six years at JP Morgan Fleming as a senior portfolio manager within their European equity group. In 2003 he joined Polar Capital to manage a European market neutral fund before joining Liontrust Asset Management in March 2006 where he developed the Cashflow Solution Investment process. He is a Chartered Management Accountant and a CFA charterholder.
