Liontrust’s James Inglis-Jones to join Stockholm Summit
James Inglis-Jones, fund manager at Liontrust Asset Management will discuss European long/short equity and cashflow issues when he takes part in the upcoming Pan-Nordic Summit Stockholm 2016 on 14-15 March at the Grand Hotel.
Inglis-Jones and colleague Samantha Gleave focus exclusively on company cash flows in managing the Liontrust GF European Strategic Equity fund. This is in an effort to find protection when markets fall, but also take advantage of markets rising. The focus on cashflow is seen as a way to access returns with less correlation to other asset classes, and access better long term returns than the market at less risk.
With markets in 2016 thus far exhibiting significant volatility, Inglis-Jones will also discuss how such a strategy can position itself.
Inglis-Jones began his career in 1997 when he joined Fleming Investment Management as an analyst before going on to manage UK equity portfolios. He then worked on JP Morgan Fleming’s institutional investment process before becoming a senior portfolio manager. In 2003 he joined Polar Capital where he managed a European market neutral fund before joining Liontrust in 2006 to develop a European investment process. James is a chartered management accountant and a CFA charterholder. James graduated with a degree in History from York University. He gained a D.Phil in History from Christ Church, Oxford.
