Luigi Antonaci of Eurizon Capital to address EM equities at Lausanne Summit

Luigi Antonaci, head of Equity Emerging at Eurizon Capital will discuss the manager’s alternative to ETFs for accessing this asset class when he speaks at the upcoming Pan-European Summit Lausanne 2017, taking place at the Beau-Rivage Palace on 26-28 April.

Facets to be discussed include tracking error, risk/return profile, and the inefficiencies inherrent in ETFs. And while purely active approaches may have produced disappointment when compared to ETFs in the past, there are other ways to approach emerging market equities, Antonaci will argue – such as the Eurizon Fund Emerging Market Equity LTE.

Antonaci graduated in 2002 from L. Bocconi University with a degree in economics. In 2006, he earned certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder. His initial work experience was as a teaching assistant. He joined Sanpaolo Wealth Management Luxembourg S.A. (now, Eurizon Capital S.A.) in 2003 as an assistant portfolio manager on the equity team. Starting in 2004, he became portfolio manager for Eurizon Capital S.A. equity sub-funds dedicated to emerging markets. As of May 2011 he is head of Equity Emerging.
