Macquarie to discuss Chinese QE at Zurich Forum

Britney Lam, investment strategist at Macquarie Asian Equities will discuss the impact of Chinese QE at the InvestmentEurope Pension Fund forum held in Zurich on 24 November.

According to Lam, China’s recent regulatory and monetary policies have been anything but traditional. Understanding how and why China is transitioning to a consumption-led economy is vital, as she believes this transition will increase the use of these unconventional policies.

She will also discuss what investors might expect from China in the coming months, how to navigate the risks, and where the potential opportunities lie.

Lam works with the investment team to manage strategic investment issues (including macro and policy risks) of the Asian Listed Equities strategies. She has worked as a portfolio manager and equity analyst for more than 12 years in Asia, at companies including Cathay Conning Asset Management and Omegacy Group Limited.
