Madrid Forum welcomes delegates

The InvestmentEurope Fund Selector Forum Madrid taking place today will highlight ideas from Aviva Investors, Generali Investments, Nordea Asset Management, Raiffeisen Capital Management and RWC Partners.

Delegates attending the event at The Westin Palace will have the opportunity to listen to speakers on asset classes and strategies seeking to generate returns in today’s challenging scenario.

Brendan Walsh, fund manager at Aviva Investors, will discuss multi-strategy investing, while Jean-Marc Pont, investment specialist at Generali Investments, will explain the impact of ageing population to open up new opportunities for companies exposed to this theme.

Jürgen Maier, senior fund manager at Raiffeisen Capital Management, will speak about Eurasia equities and how to invest in the most dynamic emerging markets, as Cristian Balteo, senior product specialist at Nordea Asset Management, will discuss how flexible fixed income strategies can be an alternative solution to escape a current negative yield scenario.

RWC Partners’ portfolio managers John Teahan and Ian Lance will speak about cautious equity strategy for complacent markets, as confidence among investors in the central bank put has encouraged risk-taking behaviour.
