Mainfirst AM’s Adrien Daniel looks to global equity at Stockholm Summit
Adrian Daniel, director, fund manager at Mainfirst Asset Management will consider aspects of global equity during the presentations being made to the Pan-Nordic Summit Stockholm 2016, hosted by InvestmentEurope at the Grand Hotel 14-15 March.
Given the prevailing environment of low interest rates coupled with volatile markets, Daniel suggests that traditional allocation models are struggling, and that use of tactical hedging may be required for those particularly focused on loss limitation in the equity asset class.
Daniel has been at Mainfirst since August 2012 as a portfolio manager, as well as a member of the absolute return team. The team manages about €1bn in two public funds and eight special mandates. The main emphasis of his work in the team is risk management, strategic asset allocation, and selection of equities. From 1996 to 2012 Adrian Daniel was a portfolio manager for DB advisors, Deutsche Bank Group. He managed approximately €1.1bn and was responsible for research into the European chemical industry.
