MainFirst’s Jan-Christoph Herbst joins Copenhagen Roundtable
Jan-Christoph Herbst, fund manager at MainFirst Asset Management is set to join the upcoming InvestmentEurope Copenhagen Roundtable 2018, taking place 30 October at the Hotel d’Angleterre in the Danish capital.
The focus of Herbst presentation is about finding alpha by investing in structural growth: at a time when there is discussion about the growth outlook in Europe there is still plenty of growth to be found by looking globally.
But with the MainFirst Global Equities team feeling that current trends are already priced in until 2020, this means an investment focus on longer term horizons, with reference to structural investment themes over a period of 5-10 years.
Herbst joined MainFirst in 2013 and as a member of the Global Equities team manages the MainFirst Global Equities and Absolute Return Multi Asset funds, where he is jointly responsible for the tactical management of the equity exposure as well as the evaluation and analysis of technical indicators. He holds a Bachelors degree in International Finance with a quantitative focus from Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences and UC Santa Barbara.
