Morgan Stanley’s Derold discusses intangible assets at Zurich PFF

Christian Derold (pictured), managing director at Morgan Stanley will discuss intangible assets as moats during the InvestmentEurope Pension Fund Forum held in Zurich on 19 November.

Derold will argue that in order to assess the long-term competitiveness of a business, intangible assets are a key factor to consider.

He is a portfolio manager for the London-based International Equity team. He joined Morgan Stanley in 2006 and has 22 years of investment experience.

Prior to joining the firm, Derold was director of research at Millgate Capital, a long short equity hedge fund.
