Ned Naylor Leyland to attend DACH Summit Munich
Ned Naylor Leyland, manager, Old Mutual Gold & Silver Fund is all set to discuss gold & silver – back to the 1970s at the upcoming DACH Summit, taking place 16-17 May at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof, Munich.
There are some striking parallels between today’s behaviour in the gold price and the 1970s, with both periods set against a secular backdrop of loose monetary policy and heightened Middle East tensions. Back then the gold price corrected sharply, before undergoing a barnstorming 600% rally over four years. Will history repeat itself?
Ned Naylor Leyland joined Old Mutual Global Investors in 2015 and manages the old mutual gold & silver fund. He is a well-known figure in the world of gold and silver investing, having over 17 years’ investment experience. He joined from Quilter Cheviot, having founded a dedicated precious metals fund for Cheviot Asset Management in January 2009, investing in gold, silver and the underlying equities. He previously worked for Smith & Williamson. Leyland has a BA (Hons) in Spanish from the University of Bristol.
