Neil Brown of Liontrust outlines sustainability at Stockholm Forum
Neil Brown, investment manager at Liontrust Asset Management, is outlining his approach to sustainability investing when he speaks at the Stockholm Forum 2017, taking place on 28 November at The Grand Hotel in the Swedish capital.
Lead manager on the SF European Growth Oeic and SF Pan European Sicav, Brown will explain how incorporating trends and changes in sustainability directly into the investment process can offer investors access to an information advantage.
He will also delve into how Liontrust believes how investors underestimate the value of sustainable and responsible businesses; environmental, social and governance factors can affect business operations, future earnings and therefore value, he notes.
Before joining Liontrust in April 2017, Brown spent five years at ATI as SRI investment manager. He has also worked at Aviva Investors and Threadneedle Asset Management. His career started at Pirc, the Pensions & Investments Research Consultants.
He has an MSc in Development Economics from the School of African & Oriental Studies and a BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Manchester. He holds the CFA Society of the UK Investment Management Certificate.
Brown is also the immediate past chair of the UN Principles for Responsible Investment Integration Working Group.
