PFF panel to discuss classic versus alternative investment strategies

A panel discussion held at the InvestmentEurope Pension Fund Forum held in Zurich on 19 November.

With pension funds under pressure to achieve returns, alternative investment strategies have gained increasing attention, the panel will discuss whether these opportunities can be matched with consistent and risk-adjusted requirements for Swiss pension funds.

The debate includes contributions from Adrian Gautschi, investment strategy controller and partner at Invalue AG, which offers investment controlling and risk advisory services to investors.

Ivana Reiss (pictured) is head of asset management at Avadis Ag, the firm invests in equities, bonds real estate as well as private equity and hedge funds.

The panel also features Olaf Meyer, chairman and member of the investment board for Profond, an autonomous pension fund for Swiss SME’s.
