RenAsset Management’s Aziz Unan to speak at Stockholm Equity Focus

Aziz Unan, portfolio manager at RenAsset Management, will be discussing opportunities in Eastern Europe and Eurasia when he takes part in the Fund Selector Equity Focus Sweden event in Stockholm on 20 October.

Billed as the region where frontier, emerging and developed markets meet, Unan will highlight the investment opportunities he feels are emerging in an area that sits on some 60% of proven global energy reserves.

Unan joined RenAsset Management (RAM) in 2012 as part of the team acquired from Griffin Capital. With more than 19 years of investment experience, he is the manager of RAM’s Ottoman Fund since inception and the Eastern European Fund since January 2015. The Ottoman Fund has been awarded multiple times by Morningstar, Sauren, Euro, and Euro AM Sontag. Prior to being a fund manager, he was an analyst concentrating on emerging market financial stocks. Unan holds a BA in Business Administration from the Anglo‐American University in Prague.
