RWC to discuss dividends at Pan DACH Summit
John Teahan and Ian Lance, portfolio managers at RWC Partners will discuss equity investing at the Investment Europe Pan DACH Summit held in Munich on 10-11 May.
The team will argue that the challenges for investors are unprecedented, with safe assets requiring the investor to pay for the privilege of safety whilst risk assets offer low returns and elevated levels of volatility.
They will present the RWC Global Enhanced Dividend strategy as an opportunity to focus on reducing drawdown risk whilst offering upside participation.
Teahan joined RWC and the RWC Equity Income Team in September 2010. Previously, he was a fund manager at Schroders and a as a performance and risk analyst for Bank of Ireland Asset Management UK. He also specialized in trading and managing derivative securities for a range of structured funds.
Lance joined RWC in August 2010 to launch the RWC Equity Income Team. Prior to that, he worked alongside Teahan at Schroders, where he managed the Schroder Income Fund and Income Maximiser Fund together with Nick Purves. Before that, he worked among others at head of European Equities and director of Research at Citigroup Asset Management and head of Global Research at Gartmore.
