Tortoise to discuss investing in US energy at Hamburg Summit
Brian Kessens, managing director and portfolio manager at Tortoise Capital Advisors will discuss investing in the North American energy value chain at the InvestmentEurope Pan European Fund Selector Summit held in Hamburg on 28-30 September.
He will discuss the investment opportunities in US midstream energy infrastructure and across the energy value chain, arguing that US energy production are likely to lead to a dramatic disruption in the global energy balance.
Kessens joined Tortoise in 2008, as a managing director and portfolio manager, he currently serves as president of the Tortoise Pipeline & Energy Fund and Tortoise Power and Energy Infrastructure Fund closed-end funds.
Before joining Tortoise, he was a vice president in Citigroup’s global energy investment banking practice. Prior to Citigroup, he served as a field artillery officer in the US Army.
