Walker Crips Stockbrokers has hired ex-BNP Paribas wealth management chief Mark Rushton as its chief investment officer.
Rushton, who was previously head of offering for UK wealth management at BNP Paribas, will be responsible for promoting the growth and expansion of Walker Crips' private client business.
In the newly created role Rushton, who will report to the group's chief executive Rodney FitzGerald, will also manage and develop the investment strategy at the group, getting it ready for RDR.
FitzGerald said: "I am thrilled Mark is bringing his talent and vision to Walker Crips.
"He will build on the core qualities and values that already attract and retain our extremely loyal clients; and he will spearhead the profitable invigoration and expansion of our private client investment business."
