Deutsche Bank has named a former eurozone expert at the International Monetary Fund to fill the role of the bank's chief global strategist, a newly created position.
Binky Chadha (pictured) will fill it.
While he has worked at the IMF including as division chief for the euro area and global markets, Chadha was most recently the German bank's chief US equity strategist.
This position will be filled by David Bianco, who joined from Bank of America, where he spent two years in the same role there. He will report to Steve Pollard, head of research in the Americas.
Chadha will report to David Folkerts-Landau, global head of research, and will publish views on important issues ranging across asset classes and regions.
He was chief US equity strategist at Deutsche Bank since 2006, and before that global head of FX research.
Bianco has also worked as head of US valuation and accounting at UBS for seven years.
