International property investment manager Cordea Savills, has appointed Lorna Mackie as head of its Luxembourg office.

She is responsible for fund corporate activities with a special focus on ensuring the standards of governance for the company's Luxembourg-domiciled funds and business entities, and Continental European subsidiaries.

Mackie reports to Bill Hackney, COO at Cordea Savills.

With over 16 years of experience in the Luxembourg fund industry - including a strong focus on administration - Mackie joins from Goodman Europe, where she was responsible for the corporate administration of real estate vehicles worth over €2bn of assets held across a number of Continental European jurisdictions.

Mackie started her career in fund administration in 1996 and spent nine years with Henderson Global Investors' third party administration business (later AMP/Cogent, then acquired by BNP Paribas Securities Services).
