Alliance Trust launches funds on Novia to consolidate UK expansion
Alliance Trust Investments, based in Dundee, Scotland, has launched seven of its funds on the Novia Financial wealth management platform.
This follows the recent launches of its funds onto the Skandia and Nucleus platforms, taking the total number of platforms to include Alliance Trust investments to eleven, consolidating Alliance Trust’s expansion across the UK market.
Tom Pearson, head of UK retail sales at Alliance Trust Investments, said: “Our inclusion on the Novia platform signifies our growing presence in the market and the integrity of our fund options.
Novia, a platform based in Bath, England, “is a natural match for us; it is well-known in the industry for transparent charging which fits well with our dedication to offering investors simple and accessible investment options.”
Paul Boston, sales and marketing director at Novia Financial, said: “We are really pleased to be able to offer our supporting IFAs access to the suite of Alliance Trust Investments’ range of funds, they are proving to be a popular investment choice amongst advisers and adding them to the Novia platform seemed like a natural step to take.”
He added: “Alliance Trust Investments’ funds can form an important part of an investment portfolio for a rising number of investors and we’re glad to be able to increase the choice that we offer to the advisers who use our platform.”
Two non-executive board members and investors in Novia Financial are Tim Levy, chief executive of Future Capital Partners, and David Royds, chairman of Matrix Group.
