Amundi names new head of ETF client relationships for Iberia
Amundi ETF, a product range of the Amundi Asset Management group, has named Laure Peyranne Rovet as Head of ETF Client Relationships for Iberia and Latin America as it prepares to enter the Spanish market.
Amundi has registered a first series of five ETFs, including the MSCI Spain Index, providing exposure to the leading stocks in the Spanish market. As part of its European roll-out plan, Amundi ETF has extended its presence from France into Germany, Switzerland, Italy, the Netherlands, the UK and now the Spanish market.
Valérie Baudson, managing director of Amundi ETF said: “We are pleased to offer Spanish investors this first series of Amundi ETF products. This launch forms part of our ambition to continue to develop our product offering in Europe, based on three main pillars: cost-efficiency, innovation and quality of replication.”
Peyranne Rovet joined Société Générale Asset Management in 2005, joining the Iberia team in 2008. She continued in the position after a merger between SGAM and Crédit Agricole created Amundi. Didier Turpin, CEO of Amundi Iberia, said: “Laure’s experience will contribute to the development of Amundi ETF’s business in Iberian and Latin American markets and demonstrates our commitment to our clients in these regions”.
