Australian manager Parker AM seeks European investors via London office
Parker Asset Management, an Australian boutique manager, has set up a London sales office and appointed Richard Blank head of sales Asia & Europe, in an attempt to target its fund at European investors.
The manager is targeting Europe because it believes investors are keen to find products that will give them exposure to areas other than the local region, which faces continued economic uncertainty.
Philip Parker, PAM founder and managing director, said: “With no end in sight to the current market volatility in Europe, investors are looking for safer options for their money, in markets with no sovereign risk and consistently performing funds.
Richard’s credentials speak for themselves: with his expansive network of established financial industry contacts, from technically sophisticated institutional investors, including traditional and long-only fund managers, to major strategy hedge funds, family offices and international private banks, Richard is ideally placed to introduce PAM’s award winning investment Fund to Europe and Asia.”
Richard Blank has had sales and marketing roles in a number of management companies, including Grunberg & Co, Credit Suisse First Boston, and Credit Lyonnais Securities.
