BlackRock launches adviser toolkit

BlackRock has launched an online and printed adviser toolkit to support the conversations advisers are having with their clients about investment choices.

A key focus of BlackRock’s new Adviser Toolkit is the impact of changing demographics on investment choices.

According to BlackRock, investors need to think beyond traditional investments like cash and government bonds to achieve the long-term returns and income they need.

The toolkit combines educational material for advisers to use with clients, including insights into markets, investor behaviour and potential investment solutions. The material focuses on three themes derived from end investor research carried out by BlackRock across Europe:

  • Investor and markets insights
  • Investor and client education
  • Investment solutions

The Adviser Toolkit is being rolled out in the UK, Italy, Switzerland and Germany and in local language both in printed format and also online.

Alex Hoctor-Duncan, head of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Retail at BlackRock, said: “We recognise how much the investment landscape has changed, whether it is regulatory change, market movements or investor dynamics.

“Coupled with increasing life expectancy, these changes are having a big impact on the conversations advisers have with their clients.”
