BNPP IP appoints Patrick Mange as emerging markets strategist

BNP Paribas Investment Partners (BNPP IP) has announced the appointment Patrick Mange to the newly created role of emerging markets strategist.

Mange will be in charge of defining BNPP IP’s emerging markets top down investment strategy and country allocation. Based in London, he will report to Ligia Torres, head of emerging markets for BNPP IP.

“Patrick possesses both the theoretical knowledge and the investment and product skills and experience that are key to helping our clients understand and invest in these markets” says Torres.

Mange was previously deputy CEO of Shinhan BNP Paribas, a South Korean Asset Management joint venture founded by BNPP IP and Shinhan Financial Group. He joined BNPP IP in 2001 and has also worked for Merrill Lynch Capital Markets France and Deutsche Bank Paris.
