Branta Solutions to launch dollar class

Roodhals Capital’s Branta Solutions fund will launch a dollar class in April, to accommodate American investors interested in sustainable investments.

The fund, launched in 2008 to focus on opportunities in sustainable investing, has seen its assets grow from $42m to $69m in the first quarter of the year. Branta was seeded by Amsterdam-based IMQubator. Branta was IMQ’s inaugural seed.

With fund inflows coming largely from institutional investors in Europe and the United States, Branta’s dollar class will allow the accommodation of American investors.

Willem Appel, CEO of Roodhals Capital, said: “The trends and themes that Branta picks for investment are a source of future returns that catch the attention of investors. These new inflows are recognition that Branta has shown positive results in each of its nearly three years in existence. The fund has shown consistency over a long enough period for institutional investment.”
