Cantab Capital appoints Adam Glinsman to managing partner

Cantab Capital, the systematic global macro manager, has hired Adam Glinsman to be managing partner.

Glinsman starts his role in September, following a quarter of a century in the industry, including six years at Lansdowne Partners, where he was COO and partner.

Since 2009 he has acted as a consultant to the Lansdowne Developed Markets Funds, and Cambridge University where he worked on the development of a strategy to commercialise intellectual property.

At Cantab Capital, Glinsman will work alongside founding partner, CIO and CEO Ewan Kirk.

Glinsman will focus on management and the development of non-investment aspects of the business, leaving Kirk to focus on investment research. Cantab Capital was founded in 2006 by Kirk, Erich Schlaikjer and Chris Pugh. Tom Howat became a partner in 2011, while Genia Diamond and Matt Killeya joined the partnership in 2012.
