Carmignac appoints Ney co-manager of the European bond fund
Keith Ney has been appointed co-manager of the European bond fund Carmignac Sécurité alongside Carlos Galvis, within the fixed-income team headed by Rose Ouahba.
Ney (pictured) will take up thw role on January 22 and will also remain head of credit, overseeing Carmignac Gestion’s global credit exposure and credit analyst team.
Ney has been with Carmignac Gestion for 8 years. After starting as global analyst, he co-managed Carmignac Market Neutral and then became head of credit.
Carmignac Gestion recently strengthened its fixed Income expertise with the hiring of Pierre Verlé as a credit analyst, bringing more than 7 years of investment experience in high yield bonds, loans, and distressed special situations.
Over the last three years, Carmignac Gestion hired 80 new staff across Europe to support its growth.
