Catella to offer real estate auctions for autumn 2012

Catella Corporate Finance, which provides property transaction advisory services, and property-related services within debt and equity capital markets, has announced that it will offer real estate auctions through its office in Stockholm.

Erik Westerlund capital markets analyst at Catella Corporate Finance, said: “This type of sales process is currently used both in Great Britain as well as Germany and works very well there. Allsop in Great Britain is one example. After the successes in the Kefren auctions in 2011, we see great potential for this sales arrangement in Sweden as well.”

“By making a great deal of information about the properties available via the Internet while maintaining a close dialogue with a large number of purchasers, we ensure that we reach the right purchaser for each property.”

Auctions are planned to take place in October/November 2012, for properties of various types located throughout the country and worth up to approximately SEK 50 million. The work in producing the information memorandum is underway, and the company will make detailed information about the properties and the sales process available in September.
