Confortini joins Aberdeen in Brazil
Aberdeen Asset Management has appointed Debora Confortini as credit analyst within the emerging market debt team in São Paulo, Brazil.
Confortini will focus on credit research. She joined from Standard & Poor’s Ratings Service where she was a ratings specialist focusing on Latin American companies.
Aberdeen manages over $7.7bn, of which $750m are invested in corporate bonds. Analysts are based in London, São Paulo and Singapore.
“Emerging market corporate bonds have come into their own as a stand-alone asset class. The addition of Debora strengthens further the team and illustrates Aberdeen’s ongoing commitment to undertaking on the ground research,” said Brett Diment, head of emerging markets fixed income at Aberdeen.
