DST deals Silica improved customer service levels

Silica, the South Africa based business processing outsource provider, and DST have signed an upgrade deal that will improve Silica’s service levels by further automating its third party administrator business.

DST, a software and services firm, provides a solution for business process management called AWD. It is this that is being upgraded, to enable provision of a single web based user interface, which is integrated with Silica’s underlying administration system. The upgrade means users get a more comprehensive display of information about clients as well as instructions to administrators, with the aim of speeding up operations.

Michael Prentice, CEO at Silica, said: “We are looking forward to deploying the new version of the solution as it will enable us to deliver a totally new investor and IFA experience and enable Silica to take on new clients more quickly and efficiently, and ultimately optimise our operations.”
