Ex-BNP Paribas Boisson starts up in real estate
Francois Boisson expects to begin fundraising for new start-up venture in May
Francois Boisson, formerly head of FX sales in the institutional clients group at BNP Paribas in London, has unveiled a new start-up company, known as Money Never Sleeps, that will invest in distressed real estate assets.
Based between London and Paris, Boisson will partner with a senior real estate banker in the US, and will start fundraising in May.
“I have been considering a move from the sell side to the buy side for some time,” Boisson tells FX Week. “The connections developed over more than 20 years in capital markets, not only in foreign exchange but also in equity and derivatives sales, will be key to the success of the new business.”
Boisson had been at BNP Paribas since 2001 and in his most recent role reported locally to Allen Sinsheimer, global head of the institutional clients group.
