First State boosts responsible investment commitment
First State Investments has appointed Will Oulton as Global head of Responsible Investment based in London and Pablo Berrutti to the newly created role of head of Responsible Investment Asia Pacific based in Sydney.
The appointments come after Amanda McCluskey joined First State Stewart’s Asia Pacific and Global Emerging Markets equity team, based in Singapore.
Oulton joins from Mercer Investments London, where he was head of Responsible Investment EMEA. He is vice president of the European Sustainable Investment Forum (EUROSIF) and a director of the UK Sustainable Investment and Finance Forum (UKSIF).
Berrutti joins from Perpetual in Sydney , where he was head of Responsible Investment. He is the current chair of the Investor Group on Climate Change Research Working Group, and a director of Responsible Investment Association of Australasia.
