Grant Thornton builds private client team with key hire from Coutts
Grant Thornton has boosted its financial planning team in London by hiring a managing partner from rival Coutts.
Martin Young (pictured) has been hired as head of financial planning for London.
While at Coutts & Co UK, Martin grew the flagshp Fleet Street office with his focus on legal advisory and accountancy, while also having oversight of teams involved with investments, deposits and lending.
At Grant Thornton he will be in charge of a team of seven investment advisers.
The firm’s national head of financial planning Neil Messenger said; “Martin comes equipped with vital expertise at a time of great challenges in the market and so will provide a steady hand our clients can rely on.”
