Harcourt expands its commodity team

Harcourt, the alternative-investment boutique of Vontobel Asset Management, has appointed Michel Salden (pictured) as senior portfolio manager.

Salden joins Harcourt from PGGM, the Dutch healthcare sector pension fund, where he has worked as senior portfolio manager for commodities and global macro incestment strategies. Overall, he has 12 years of experience working for Dutch pension funds, including APG and DPFS.

He will assume the responsibilities of the current portfolio manager, Jon Andersson, who will focus on his role as portfolio manager of the Vontobel Fund – Belvista Dynamic Commodity.
