Insight Investment Management joins forces with Pareto
Insight Investment Management Limited has completed the integration of currency risk management specialist Pareto Investment Management Limited and of part of its affiliated entities.
The newly combined group will leverage on Insight’s expertise in Liability Driven Investment (LDI), active fixed income, multi-asset and absolute return solutions and on Pareto’s active and passive currency risk management business.
Pareto’s capabilities include active and passive currency risk management and it has operations in the UK, USA, Japan and Australia.
The combined group will have total assets of £212.3bn and will be known as “Insight Investment” in the UK and Europe. The group will remain a fully autonomous investment manager in BNY Mellon’s boutique asset management structure.
“From the outset, Insight and Pareto showed themselves to be a natural fit. The businesses share a similar risk management philosophy and client centric approach. The complementary footprint of the combined businesses provides a broad geographic reach stretching from the UK and Europe to the US and Asia Pacific,” said Abdallah Nauphal, chief executive of Insight.
He added: “By combining Pareto’s expertise in currency risk management with Insight’s capabilities, we have created a comprehensive investment solutions business which enables us to provide additional value to clients.”
